I've only discoevered Mike by chance just a couple of days ago - just on his birthday, as I realize now. What a coincidence...
I have never felt like this before - this golden boy filled all my mind and my soul, his voice stays in my ears whatever I do, his image stamped somewhere deep in my mind. A fairytale boy, too fragile and delicate, though looking so manly and handsome, to survive the leaden filth of life. I'm aware it was not as romantic as can be seen now, almost 40 years later. But his story in itself is prescious for moving our hearts, for making us grieve over a star that burned out way ahead of its time.
"One by one
Only the good die young
They're only flying too close to the sun",
as was sung to mourn over another great voice of his time, only a year older than Mike.
In our memory, he will remain the ever young sad-eyed boy rivalling the angels with his voice and gods with his beauty. And while still remembered, he lives on and on.

infiniment merci cite tres beau tres bien realiser j ai pu decouvrir certaines photos de mike que je ne connaisser pas mereci a vous de partager ces moments merci de perpetre ainsi la memoire de mike que j admire et que j adore oui on peux bien rire de moi je l aime tout cour et j aime ceux qui comme moi aime mike et les remerci de tout ce qui font bravo a vous c est super sympas de continuer a le faire vivre si je peus m exprimer ainsi continuer encore merci

בגיל 15 כשעדיין התגוררתי בצרפת שמעתי את אחד השירים שלו משהו קרה לי באותו רגע.לא ידעתי במי מדובר איך הוא נראה כלום הקול שלו המבטא ואז כשגילתי במי מדובר עוד יותר נוצר חיבור מעבר לכך שהוא נפטר מס' חודשים לפני שנולדתי ,חשתי צער כל-כך גדול על מותו ועוד בשיאו מאז ועד היום ועברו 20 שנה אני לא שוכחת את אותו רגע ושומעת עד היום את שיריו .יהיה זיכרו ברוך ושלא ישכח לעולם אמן. ותודה למקימי האתר הזה יישר כח.

Mike was my favourite artist when i was a teenager. Lots of posters on my bedroom wall. I loved his songs then and still do at the age of 50. I now live in London and it brings back a lot of memories when I hear his voice. I loved him then and will always. So sad he died at such a young age.
